Quarried in the mountains outside Carrara, Italy, the marble’s white to blue-grey base and fine grey veining deliver a refined, enduring look—an ideal choice for a premium fireplace surround.

Revered since Roman times, Carrara is valued for its strength, fine grain, and capacity to hold crisp detail and a superb polish. While the pure white “statuario” grade used historically for monumental works is now extremely limited, contemporary Bianca Carrara typically shows a soft grey cast with delicate grey or near-black streaks—features that the polished finish accentuates beautifully.
