Dean Forge

Dean Forge is a family-run British stove manufacturer based at Dean Prior, on the southern edge of Dartmoor in Devon — building stoves in the same works since 1969. That's over fifty years of continuous production, and it shows in the build: proper steel and cast iron, straightforward engineering, and a finish that stands up to decades of use. Every Dean Forge stove is made in Britain, and the company still supports models it built years ag

More about Dean Forge

The range is built around the Eco suffix, and it means something specific: every stove in the range is Ecodesign compliant, DEFRA exempt for smoke control areas, and certified to clearSkies Level 5 — the highest independent emissions rating available. Outputs run from 4kW room heaters up to 8kW, with most models available in a choice of nine colours and several leg or log store options — so the stove you pick genuinely fits your room and your taste, not just the spec sheet.

The range splits into five families. The Dartmoor is the classic freestanding stove, available as wood-only or multi-fuel, in 5kW and 8kW. The Dartmoor Baker adds a proper cooking top — the same stove, but you can boil a kettle or simmer a stew on it. The Croft is the traditional option, a clean-lined steel stove in 5kW, 8kW and a Junior model for smaller rooms. The Sherford brings a more contemporary look, with Slimline versions for tight fireplace openings. The Woodbury is the multi-fuel workhorse, also available in Slimline format for shallow recesses.

We're an authorised Dean Forge dealer, with stoves on display at our showroom in Crookham Village, Fleet, Hampshire GU51 5SD — real, burning fires, not a catalogue. We survey, install and service Dean Forge stoves across Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. Come and see one running before you decide.
