More about British Fires
Underneath the logs, British Fires' Air Curtain Technology directs heat through the fire and out into the room for even, efficient warmth rather than heat pooling in front of the glass. LED flame technology delivers sharp, vibrant visuals at low running costs, and full remote control comes as standard — heat, flame intensity and ambient lighting all adjustable from your seat. No chimney, no flue and no gas supply required; most models simply plug in.
The range runs well beyond inset fires. The New Forest collection is the flagship — inset electric fires from compact models for standard fireplace openings up to panoramic sizes for media walls. Explore the New Forest range.Alongside it you'll find inset fires for existing fireplace openings, including the Sway 16", the portrait-format Knightwood and the compact Ashlett.
The electric stove collection carries the same realistic flame picture in freestanding form, from the substantial 6mm-steel Cube to the traditional cast-iron Hinton. And the suites pair a British Fires fire with a surround in one ready-to-install package — Winchester, Brockenhurst and Holbury — in finishes to suit both period and contemporary rooms. British Fires Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our British Fires
British Fires fires are available to order through Eco Fires and Stoves rather than as a straight online checkout. That isn't a limitation — it means you get the right fire for your room, correctly specified and professionally installed, rather than a box arriving on the doorstep. Call 01252 815100 or visit our showroom in Crookham Village, Fleet, and we'll talk you through the range.
Yes. The Deluxe Real Logs fuel bed — hand-finished from genuine UK-sourced oak — comes as standard with every British Fires fire. No two log sets are exactly alike, so your fire is genuinely one of a kind.
Every British Fires fire from Eco Fires and Stoves includes a complimentary upgrade to the manufacturer's 5-year warranty, giving you complete peace of mind from the day of installation.
As an authorised British Fires dealer we can source genuine spare parts directly from the manufacturer. Contact us on 01252 815100 or through our contact page with your model details and we'll handle it.
British Fires' Air Curtain Technology directs heat through the fire and out into the room, distributing warmth evenly rather than concentrating it in one spot. Depending on the model, heat output is adjustable by remote control, so you can fine-tune both temperature and flame independently.
We recommend professional installation for all British Fires products. Most models need no chimney, flue or gas supply — they simply plug in — but correct fitting into a fireplace opening, media wall or suite ensures the fire performs as it should and the warranty stays valid. Our in-house team surveys, installs and commissions across Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.
