British Fires Sway

The British Fires Sway 16" is an inset electric fire designed for one job: replacing an outdated gas or electric fire in a standard 16-inch fireplace opening, and doing it with genuine style rather than making do. Behind the glass, hand-finished Deluxe Real Logs — genuine English oak arranged in a camp fire style — sit low in the firebox, opening up a tall viewing area that lets the flames climb high up the rear glass. Overhead LED downlights pick out the detail in the logs and add depth to the flame picture. It's a proper British Fires fire, just in a format that slots straight into the fireplace you already have.

Two frame styles are available. The Elegance keeps things clean with a wide two-bar design that puts the logs front and centre, while the Classic suits both traditional and contemporary fireplaces. Both come with 1.5kW heat output, full remote control and a discreet heater outlet that keeps the lines clean. The Sway includes two spacer frames as standard, giving you three installation options — fully recessed, semi-recessed or free standing. See the Sway running at our showroom in Crookham Village, Fleet, or call 01252 815100 to talk it through.
